VICTORIAN SCIENCE MUSEUM

Whilst researching about early technologies I came across a fascinating collection of Victorian Science objects ran by the enthusiast  Tony Swift.

Located in the small village of Glaisdale surrounded by the mysterious landscape of Yorkshire Moors in the North Yorkshire, Tony has accumulated unique pre-plastic era objects of technology that represent the an exciting age of early scientific discoveries.

As well as documenting the collection I was curious to find out how the information about new technology might leak into the shiny brass and wood world so carefully preserved by Tony and what is Tony’s interest in the emerging technology.
